Post-Glow is a simple deferred shading technique to simulate the flare of glowing surfaces with emissive material color.
The technique of Post Glow takes a shaded image of a regular scene (a) and a rendered image of the glowing parts of the scene (b), blurs the latter and composes them both together (c).
