Images and Uploads
To place images in a text, the image first needs to be uploaded to the site and then referenced from the text. The two steps can be combined in a single markup phrase:

The above line will result in a reference to a PNG file, that is identified as an image by the extension. If the file has not yet been uploaded, it will show up in the text as a link with an upload arrow. By clicking at the upload arrow, we will be prompted to browse for the image and upload it as an attachment to the current group. All uploaded files are stored in the upload folder and organized by group. Be sure to set the permissions of the upload folder to rwx for all users.
Once the file has been uploaded, it will show up as an image in the text, for example:

We can also make images float so that the text flows around it:
