Volume interpolation of the discrete funktion $F(i,j,k)$ by
trilinear (or higher-polynomial) interpolation.
Volume function = $f(u,v,w)$
piece-wise linear for each voxel
Volume visualization =
Generation of three-dimensional views of the interpolated volume function f(u,v,w).
